Whats better, MARY KAY or AVON make up/skin care products?

Mary Kay.

Avon's not that bad, but Mary Kay's a better quality, and has better ethics, and they treat their employees better.

Just look at their websites, and see which one's more prosperous.

Also, Avon tends to branch out in weird directions like... pocketbags and chandelier earrings. Mary Kay sticks with what it does best.

A jack of all trades isn't usually very good at anything.

Whats better, MARY KAY or AVON make up/skin care products?
I love Avon! If you email me I will tell you how you can get 50% off and everyone loves a discount! My name is Augusta and my email is supercute321@yahoo.com I will be looking forward to hearing from you! Report It

Reply:Mary kay is expensive and I perfer avon. mary kay drys out my skin to much.
Reply:Neither

BeautiControl is better than both I think
Reply:With all due respect, both of them suck. They have outdated colors and base makeup always looks chalky.

I prefer L'Oreal.
Reply:IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN TYPE BECAUSE AVON HAS ALOT OF OILS IN THEIR PRODUCTS.
Reply:mary kay is more expensive than Avon..Avon eyeshawdow breaks me out and the perfume give me severe headache
Reply:mary kay!!!

makes you look wayy pretty!!
Reply:Mary Kay is best. Just make sure you get the right products for your skin type. Your consultant will let you know your skin type.
Reply:avon i cant aford mary kay and i love avon
Reply:I think they are both ok.... Mary Kay is more expensive so i would have to say that Avon is what i buy the most of. I love their african shea butter lotion...
Reply:Both are low low quality cosmetics. Quite frankly, the best women wear little to no makeup. Most men feel that way. We're not looking at your face anyway.
Reply:Both products are over priced. They are of good quality but in my opinios, it's best to go out to the store and pick out the make up yourself. It's better because you won't make the mistake of buying a product you might dislike and then can't return (since there are testers in the store) and it's better picking out the right tone for your skin seeing the actual color than seeing it through a catalog.
Reply:Personally I don't like either one. I have a very light complexion and I have a hard time finding one of the foundations that's not too yellow on me. Also, when I do finally find one of the products in a color I like, by the time I'm ready to order it again, it's been discontinued.
Reply:Mary Kay. It is the best value for your money. It costs more than Avon, but it lasts a long time since you only use a small about.

It is the best selling brand of skin care and color cosmetics in the US. They develop and manufacture all of their own products. From a make up technology stand point they lead the way and demand high quality ingredients from their suppliers.
Reply:neither mac is good the best for make up, and as for skin care products you want to stick to all natural brands. Not that cheep stuff, that are over priced
Reply:Defenetly MARY KAY.

I used thier acne treatment Gel and the next day my zit was so tiny u cud barly see it!
Reply:Mary Kay! If formulated correctly you will fall in love...there's a formulation for ALL skin types and the product is great. I'm a make-up artist and I have used alot of different make-up lines over the past 15yrs. Mary Kay is a good quality make-up line. Mary Kay may seem expensive but it's better then some of the high-end lines in the Department Stores and worth the investment.
Reply:Neither. I've tried them both, and I'm not happy with either of them. I use make-up from the drug store.
Reply:MARY KAY!

It's priced higher than most because 1)it a great quality product and 2)it's not sold in stores, you can only get it through a consultant. For those who have had problems with breakouts or dry skin from using the products, it's probably because you didn't use products that were suited to your specific skin type.
Reply:Mary Kay is too expensive for my tiny budget plus their face makeup is too harsh on my skin. I had bad acne when I used their stuff. MK's Blemish Control toner felt like it was killing my skin. I haven't used a lot of Avon makeup but the ones I have used I like. Their line for acne-prone skin is wonderful.
Reply:I would like to throw Arbonne out there. Arbonne is simliar in the reguard that it is a network marketing company.
