I am interested in trying differin gel for skin problems, but I have never asked my doctor for something for my skin before. Do I need a dermatologist to prescribe me a skin product, or can I ask my GP? I am from Canada if this makes any difference.

Hi, I managed to buy differin gel (there are two types, gel and cream) from both dematologist and GP. Just ask them for it. You can always ask while you visit the GP for other health issues. Check the expiry date too. Good Luck!
