Questionable

S

Wash your hair in distilled water each morning. and do the following. Do not use soap or anything else. The itchy will stop.

Beauty must come from within.

Do you want just pretty skin or do you want a beautiful mind and body.

If you want beautful skin then you continue to use the stuff your using.

IF YOU WANT A BEAUTIFUL MIND AND BODY THEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

I know you will not except this but this is the very best and is not on the market.

First throw out all that other stuff. That chemical factory

Go to wally world and buy distilled water by the gallons lots of it. Use this water to eat drink and bathe in. Forget the shower and tub unless you use distilled water in the tube. That will take about 20 gallons each use. That is kinda costly. Use one quart of distilled water and a wash cloth that has not been washed in the landuary with soap (new if possible). DO NOT USE SOAP ON YOUR BODY. ITS A CHEMICAL FACTOR.

When you are finished washing your body you will see all that dead skin in the water.

Do this twice a day for 10 days and watch your hair and skin slowly start glowing as you clean out your system.

Also start drinking vegie juice and orange juice consentrate mixing one can of distilled water with one can of orange juice consentrate. The vegie juice mix distilled just enought to wrench out the can and fill the jar you are using. Do not use plastic it has a liner that harms the body functions. If you are using a 1/2 gallon jar to one can of vegie juice then fill the jar with distilled water. There is one other thing you must do. This is the hardest. Clean up your thinking process. Think yourself as a very beartiful girl (lady) and when you look in the mirror that is what you see. Be proud of your mind and body. A HAPPY BEAUTIFUL GIRL (LADY) think good thing about yourself and about others. Find good things to say about others. What you sow you reap. Think how wonderful, happy you are THIS WILL HELP SET YOUR MIND AND BODY IN TO A POSITIVE STATE so the cleaning process will work more effective.

I mix two one quart cans in a one gallon jar and then add enought distilled water to fill the jar.

I am a male of many years and I can not keep the ladies (young and senior) away. They all seem to want to hang around me. I like the attention but some times I would like to be alone.

By the way here are some of the side effects you will incounter. You will soon stop wanting red meat naturally. Don't push it, just let it happen. You will loose the desir for soft drinks, you will loose the desire for coffee you will soon stop eating heavy foods of every kind. Your blood presure will become stable and your blood system will become clean. Your energy will increase 10 to 100 times and you will find the gentlemem will be wanting to hang out around you. You will become very content with the beautiful girl you are.

IF YOU ARE NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL (LADY) NOW YOU WILL SOON BE. By the way love yourself.

How many personal care products do you use on a day-to-day basis?

This includes hair care products, skin care products, soap to wash your hands, perfumes, deodorants, makeup, or anything that you apply to your body, whether it be your hair or skin, on a daily basis.

I am just wondering how dependent we are on personal care products.

How do I get a script for a skin-care product?

I am interested in trying differin gel for skin problems, but I have never asked my doctor for something for my skin before. Do I need a dermatologist to prescribe me a skin product, or can I ask my GP? I am from Canada if this makes any difference.

How do I get a script for a skin-care product?
Hi, I managed to buy differin gel (there are two types, gel and cream) from both dematologist and GP. Just ask them for it. You can always ask while you visit the GP for other health issues. Check the expiry date too. Good Luck!

What's up with all these new moisturizing/anti-aging/anti-w... face-skin-caring products for men?

I recently started shaving again after a year of only trimming and went off to boots to get me an after shave.

To my surprise the men's section was full of all these new men face skin caring products. There were probably about 10 brands some of which are well known for their female skin-caring products. Each brand had 5 or more different products. I got dizzy just at trying to figure out what each one was doing.

What happened and all of the sudden all of these appear out of nowhere? Do men really need these?

What's up with all these new moisturizing/anti-aging/anti-w... face-skin-caring products for men?
men, and women don't need these either! they are merely to make money for the companies that make them, and nothing more.
Reply:Lotsa men wanna have healthy smooth skin, some also have a sun and wind protector built in, he he welcome to the modern age and YES! we are worth it!
Reply:Well, skin is all about moisturising. Men can look young, too and the wrinkly look is not cool anymore.

Shaving is also in again and a good shaving foam/gel + moisturiser regularly, can keep years off your face....... you will be 60 and look 50!! :o)

Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment like Murad and Proactive? My face are so dry so as my lip.It is true if you pick your face it will leave scar when treatment is over? How long do I need to take Isotretinoin?Thank you.

Please tell me what kind of skin care product should I use while I am on Isotretinoin. Can I use acne treatment
These are questions you can call the derm adn ask him. actually, go schedule a visit maybe, and they can give you free skin lotion samples that will help.

You need to be on isotretinoin for months.......and more.

I am on duac and tazorac. It makes my face peel which helps with scarring........

as for lotion, it depends on what you can afford, but i found that

I bought creams vs. lotions will help with dry skin.

Eucerin is excellent over the counter.

You could try almond oil, actually Jojoba oil is excellent at promoting skin healing. and a more natural product.

if your face is so dry adn peeling, when you re washing your face, use a wet/warm wash cloth to gently rub against your facial skin to help exfoliate, this will help too.

Lavender essential oil is excellent at deterring germs and good for acne too. and gentle on the skin. look on line for essential oils dealing with acne/ google it.....
Reply:I'm not to familiar with the the drug isotretionion but i do know that if you face is dry %26amp; your lip as well its best not to use products liek Murad %26amp; Proactive as these products contain Benzoyl Peroxide which can dry the skin out more. so just stick to mosturising and a lip conditioner such as vasiline ( its an oldie but fantastic) and you can even put it on the dry arears of your face too. its not to harsh. good luck.

P.S: dont pick at all, i know it feels good but it will leave scars that will leave you feeling bad in the future.

Reply:Get some pine tar soap in either bar or liquid form and wash the affected areas with this. Pine tar soap is available at lehmans or on ebay. Rinse with a solution of 50% apple cider vinegar and 50% water. Pat dry rather than rubbing. Additionally, ingest at least a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day. You can add it to your apple juice or a glass of water or make a kind of tea with it by adding it to a cup of steaming water or have a salad with apple cider vinegar and oil as the dressing. This will help work on the problem from the inside while you are working on the problem on the surface.

Doing things the natural way is the only path to restored health.

Does anyone know of a skin care product that gets rid of acne and scar spots all in one...?

or just a good skin care product in general...I am currently using ProActive and its not working! I have tried it feels like everything. I have never had acne bad but when I get a pimple its huge and embarrasing...the ProActive is doing nothing for me and if anything is just giving me more pimples and less money...it's so expensive...please help!! What works BEST?!?!

Does anyone know of a skin care product that gets rid of acne and scar spots all in one...?
I use Acne Free and its really great. You can find it at Costco or BJ's. It's affordable and it keeps the acne away. I only get like an unexpected pimple every 3-4 months and then it's gone. It really works and i always use it.
Reply:Go to the Dermatologist. I am on Retin A and it is great. You will go through a peeling period and your face will be red, but after that period your skin looks great and the added benefit of the peeling is that it removes the spots where you did have acne too. I was also prescribed a couple other things but the Retin A helps with the scaring problem. Good Luck!
Reply:Well, to get rid of acne i took Dalacin pills (but don't take them if they're not prescribed to you by a dermatologist), and every morning i used (and am still using) Effaclar face wash and before i go to bed i used (and again am still using) Differin cream. i had very very bad acne, my back and all, now you can see from my pic that acne is gone :)

i tried proactive and it got rid of my acne scars and my acne...it was a little pricey because i got it at the mall but you can get it by phone now for only $19.99 + shipping...if you get it just make sure you continue using it after your face clears up because if you dont the acne might come back like it did with me, which is why i started using it again.

Would switching to a "healthier", natural skin care product be likely to cause a breakout?

I ask because it has happened to some friends and I've heard that when switching to something that doesn't have artificial chemicals and animal fats in it, the skin care product can actually "detox" your skin causing it to break out. But if you stick with it, supposedly it will clear up and be better than ever. Do you have any research that could back or disprove this claim? Please give me a why, not just yes or no type answers. Thanks!

Would switching to a "healthier", natural skin care product be likely to cause a breakout?
Intensive Skincare For Anti-Aging or Improvement

Your skin is constantly replenishing itself. When you are younger your skin's "turnover rate" is about every 15-18 days. When you start approaching your mid-thirties the process slows down to as much as every 28 days. The upper most layer, the epidermis, is where we shed our skin cells and reveal the newer cells that are produced in the basal layer (the bottom). Any product that is bought in the stores and make up counters at those expensive boutiques affect this layer only. The next level down is the dermis. This level contains oil glands, nerves, capillaries, your body's melanin (the cells that are responsible for your coloring and a tan) plus sweat glands that moderate your body's temperature.

The dermis also contains your natural collagen and elastin in addition to your fat and water storage. Your collagen and elastin are responsible for that springiness that gives your skin its youthful vitality. Without this, in addition to lessened sebum (oil) production and slower cell turn-over rate as you age your skin appears wrinkled and drier than when in your youth. Then, there is the basal layer which we previously spoke about. It is in the basal layer that the skin cells are produced. This is where it all starts and this is where the magical renewal process can work its wonder of providing our bodies with the ability to uncover a newer, healthier and unblemished skin!

Skin-typing test: When you wake up in the morning, wash your face with a mild facial cleanser and pat dry. Do not apply ANY products (not even a toner) and wait about an hour. Press a facial tissue or those special little oil-tissues to your forehead, nose, chin and cheeks to check for excess oil.

If your skin isn't overly shiny from excess oil or too tight and dry from lack of, then you have Normal skin.

If you have an oily T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) and are normal on the cheeks, you have one of the most common skin types, Combination skin.

If your entire face (or at least a good percentage of your face) is shiny with oil or an oily residue is left on the tissue from all sections of your face you have Oily/Acne-prone skin. Those with oily skin may notice a lot of "breakouts" and this is sometimes attributed to excess hormones. This can be corrected with medications received by a dermatologist or birth control from your OBGYN or physician or simply, physician skin care.

If your skin feels tight and has flaky areas that are remedied by moisturizer application - you have Dry skin. Dry skin appears to be more wrinkled and older without moisturizer. It tends to age faster as well. Your skin retains its youthful appearance with the help of its natural moisturizer (sebum) and regular exfoliation.

If you find that your face and/or body "breaks out", produces red bumps or patches, irritable dry areas or stinging sensitive areas after applying some products or just for no reason at all, you may have Sensitive skin. Sensitive skin can make your life difficult when it comes to cosmetics, skincare or just everyday personal hygiene.

Now that you know your personal skin-typing you can better choose from the many products formulated for your personal needs. *Remember, your skin changes as the seasons do. Plus, when you get older, your skin's needs change as well. This can be confusing and you may think it to be a hassle. But, once you get a regimen down, it gets easier. The benefits far outweigh the temporary annoyance of getting accustomed to a regimen.
Reply:Don't know about that, but if you are allergic or sensitive to something in the product, you'll likely break out even if the ingredients are all natural. F'instance, I can't use anything that has glycerine in it, I get an itchy red rash, and the more glycerine the product contains, the worse the rash is.
Reply:Hi!

I have been using for quite some time Dr.Hauschka products, natural make-up products. It has greatly improved my skin, and I love it. Cover-girl,Revlon, only made my skin worse. I never had any problems at all with these products. They're expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. You can visit their site :

Not only do they oppose animal testing (a major must), but there is plenty of other reasons why you should try this.Visit their site and check out their philosophy, you'll be quite impressed =)

What is the best skin care product/regime?

I really want to take good care of my skin, but I don't know what product to belive it. There are OTC and then there are medical grade. Thanks for the help.

What is the best skin care product/regime?
ARBONNE!!! It is really the best both me and my husband use the products and we love them. I never thought I would see my husband doing a skin are regime but I talked him into trying it and now he cant live without it. The products are not cheap but as I say you get what you pay for. They do last a long time and the bottles are all pre measured pumps so 1 pump is all you need. Here is a website you can go to and read about the products. If you don't see what you are looking for go to shoponline and there is a more detailed description.

http://www.sherrimiller.myarbonne.com

You can find before and after photos at the bottom of the products page.

Hope this helps!!!
Reply:I was asked to try the(arbonne) re9 regime for my face last fall. It's not cheap but amazing at making your skin glow and helping with sun spots, fine lines, and dark circles and bags. I (despite not wanting to be) am hooked. I also enjoy the shower scrub, serum and body cream - I think they fall in to high end - but turns out a few local MD and pediatricians endorse the products because they are pure/natural and adjust to many skin conditions.

I'd have to say I am hooked.

Whatever you use or advice you get make sure the products do not contain a trace of petroleum (mineral/baby oils)

as this is not good for you or your skin!
Reply:I highly recommend the Vital skin care line by Bee Luscious Cosmetics, you will love the results. I have been using these products for a little over 6 months now and I just love the transformation my skin has gotten, and the compliments for people even strangers on the street because my skin looks radiant. I use the full line plus the mineral mist to refresh my skin and the liquid foundation is flawless everything they have is 100% natural and just simply wonderful.... Good Luck check them out on line

Reply:Hi there I think the best for acne is Arbonne Clear Advantage System ( 4steps:wash, toner. lotion and skin Support)! this is what I use and love! I am 29 and this is the first time in years my skin is clear and soft!
Reply:Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Consider going to see a wholistic health professional, they have some great supplements. Try and stay away from the junk foods. I’ve also had good luck with a product called Acnezine.

It sounds odd, but I love Mane 'n Tail Hoofmaker. It's made for horse hooves, but is a fabulous lotion. Everyone comments me on how beautiful and soft my skin looks and all I do is apply that each day. It also makes your nails stronger and is cheap!

What is the best skin care product on the market?

My skin seems to be acting up a little bit due to the weather. I have fairly normal skin, not excessively oily or dry. What's the best product to keep away blemishes? I wash my face everyday in the shower with Wet and Wild skin care, but that's obviously not working. Thanks!

What is the best skin care product on the market?
if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear continuous control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. another thing you can do is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.
Reply:What i use is called PCA Skin...it is the BEST!! You have to get it through a cosmetologist or a dermatologist though...but within a month my face was completely clear...i had tried so many things like pro-activ, clean and clear, neutrogena and nothing worked...this stuff is spectacular...i actually get compliments on my skin now...

Reply:aveeno works wonders
Reply:It depends what you are looking for.

Creme de la Mer is widely considered one of the best moisturizers in America today. Le Mer is owned by Estee Lauder and will usually go for about $100 for 1 oz. If that's too pricey, look for something that has SPF, which can be a lifesaver.

For a cleanser, Freeze 24-7 Ice Shield SPF 15 facial cleanser leaves a layer of SPF on yours skin.

The best scrub is probably St. Ives Apricot Scrub, which can be found in drug stores.

A good place to get cosmetics is Sephora, of which there are three in San Fransisco. One on Powell Street, one on Union Street, and one in SFO International Airport.
Reply:Hello

When you ask for the "best" skin care products it really depends what your specific needs are. It is really easy to spend 300$ on a jar of cream and have it just be ok. I would reccomend using a good cleanser and you can get some of these very cheap at any drugstore. I think it is important that it contains a bit of salicylic acid for exfoliation and pore cleansing purposes.

For a moisturizer look for something that combines firming and lifting and anti aging properties, you can spend a lot and get one such as La Prairie Skin Cavier line or Sisley anti aging cream.

I have developed a more affordable skin care line you may be interested in also.

Is there a skin care product like Pro-Active, but more affordable?

First off, I've used Pro-Active before, and it works. If you used it as well, did it work for you? We just stopped ordering it because it was too expensive. Is there a similar skin care product that is more affordable and easy to obtain?

Is there a skin care product like Pro-Active, but more affordable?
Yes, I used proactive at one time %26amp; it did work for me. I as well stopped using it, as I was going into debt just to get clear skin. Another thing I didn't like about it is that each month I would get that whole "package deal" re-order regardless of whether or not I needed all the products. I found I ran out of some things before my new products arrived, but had bottles of something else that I didn't use as much of. Also, my skin has a tendancy to change with the seasons - much oilier in the summer/humid months and in the winter my cheeks get dry. I felt that I didn't have that "personal" touch - the ability to really discuss my skincare needs with a person on a regular basis as my skin changed.

Now I use Mary Kay. I absolutely LOVE IT. So much that I became an Independent Beauty Consultant. But what's good about Mary Kay, is that you get to talk to your consultant about your skin %26amp; get a "personalized" skin care program that can change as you need it to. You also only buy the products you need, when you need them. It's not an all or nothing bundle. With Mary Kay, you also have the ability to order on line, or request a face to face visit with your consultant, or consult via phone or e-mail. I'll be glad to help you out, if you'd like. You can visit my Mary Kay website at www.marykay.com/lindapeddy or e-mail me at pearls_of_progress@yahoo.com
Reply:ya its called acne free and its at walmart for about $20.00 for the whole kit it is generic for Pro-active
Reply:yes it did work for me but after about 6 months you will become ammuned to it and it will stop working
Reply:Proactiv works though, go for it. 95% it works don't hesitate. I bought Clean and clear, Neutregena, spending 20$ already i can already gotten proactiv again. lol so go for proactiv and don't waste 20$ on acne-free.

Buy those two products they last a few months

THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY. I hard HORRIBLE acne. IT IS GONE.

First use the cleanser it is 9.50 and a goood size.

Wet your hands and the skin you'll be washing. You may use cold, warm, or very warm water, whichever you prefer. Then pump out some cleanser into your palm. I like to use two good pumps and get a nice lather going by rubbing my hands back and forth vigorously. If you're strapped for cash, you can probably get away with one pump, but if you're just using one pump, take some extra time to get a nice lather going. A good lather allows your hands to move quickly and gently over the skin. The important thing is that you wash for ten seconds or less. This may seem odd and like you're not washing long enough, but dirt on the surface of your skin does not cause acne, and more cleansing will only irritate. To further reduce irritation, use a gentle touch. When you're washing it should feel like your hands are barely touching your skin at all.

Daniel Kern's Regimen Gentle Cleanser can be used on the whole body. It works just as well on the body as on the face.

Before you start using DKRcleanser, you may want to watch the videos of me cleansing my face.

Men--in the shower for a shave: Splash your face as often as you can during your shower to get your beard ready for a shave. This will prevent irritation when shaving. The last thing to do in the shower before you get out is to shave. Pump out two full squirts of gentle cleanser into your palm. For a super lathery shave, use three. Now vigorously rub your hands together--go nuts with it--and get a nice good lather going. Now apply that lather super gently to your beard area and shave confidently. Once you have finished shaving, use another half a squirt or so of cleanser to gently wash your forehead and nose and you'll be all set.

THEN use the Regimine THIS STUFF IS AMAZING for 8.50

I made Daniel Kern's Regimen Gel so people can use it with the Regimen found on Acne.org. Through years of trial and error, I found that 2.5% benzoyl peroxide when used in conjunction with gentle cleansing and adequate moisturization is an unbeatable acne treatment option.

The Regimen helps get rid of acne quickly and reliably, but it must be followed precisely to work well. Please read The Regimen and watch the regimen videos for best results.

As with any acne treatment aside from Accutane, you must continue with your regimen until you grow out of acne. There is no cure for acne, just ongoing treatment.

I found that you must use generous amounts of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide to achieve clear skin. This is why Daniel Kern's Regimen Gel is made in a large 4 oz. size. It is important to remember, as with any acne treatment, that you are gentle in application with Daniel Kern's Regimen Gel. We know that irritation can aggravate acne, so be gentle when you apply Daniel Kern's Regimen Gel.

Before you use Daniel Kern's Regimen Gel, be sure to read through The Regimen carefully, print it out, and watch the videos a few times. You should start clearing up quickly and reliably if you follow The Regimen closely.
Reply:well i used proactiv for 2months and at first my skin was getting better but after that it get worst!so i stopped using it and shifted to acne treatment MURAD.it's only 30.$in beauty salons, but i suggest you use proactive becasue my skin was more healthy and clear, this acne treatment(MURAD)is go0d but you maybe sensitive to it.

SHEHNAZ HUSSAIN...she sells pretty good skin care products and trust me they are natural herbs. the prices a bit high but its worth, u can see results. i use her face scrub and it surely helps my face glow as i have a very dry skin. if u live outside india then look for her products at the indian stores. or tell ur relatives or friends to get them for you from india, they are cheap there. good luck !!!

Reply:Best way is to go natural. Please try this method. After wash with mild soap, apply a thin layer of raw alovera jell. Since it is transparent, it does not appear. Wash your face with plain water frequently. Before going to bed apply again alovera jell little liberally. It is natural, no side effects. It makes your skin glow the natural way.

Old skin care product??

About 2-3 years ago, my aunt sent me some skin care product to use on my face for cleaning my skin.

I have yet to use it and it has been sitting around in my room for about 2 (maybe 3 years).

Can I use it now and will it work effectively?? Or is it bad and should I throw it away?

The product is from HongKong and has Chinese written all over it. I'm pretty sure it's nothing like clean and clear, neutrogen, or any brand name like that (if that matters at all)

Old skin care product??
I think it is fine, but if it has a strange odor to it, throw it away.
Reply:well it can't hurt anything.

Try it out!
Reply:well, if its unopened it may be usable..Just inspect it, u should be able to tell by how it looks and smells

Skin care product?

can anybody please help me...i need to know what safflower oil is for ( apart frm cooking) is it true that its really good for skin??..... do you have any suggestions for natural skin care product...

Skin care product?
i use sesame oil instead of lotion
Reply:yes!it realy works..........
Reply:Virgin Coconut Oil is better
Reply:the natural way that i think works for the skin to look good and shiny is that. i use a mix of some natural things

1 tblsp Besan

pinch of turmeric powder

few drops of lemon

1/2 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 tea spon milk

mix and apply it all over ur face. do it 3 times a week and keep it for half an hour. trust me this really works and skin will start lookin so good.
Reply:Yes, it does work. Natural oils work better on the skin since they are less likely to irritate the skin and are easily absorbed by the skin. If you want more skin care tips, you can go to http://www.skinsosilky.com for advice.

Which skin care product good for my face?

recently, i was told that my face skin condition was very bad.

my face has lots of small holes (caused by whelk).

i want to improve my face skin's condition.

so, what kind of skin care product should i use?

please kindly list the brand name with as much detail info as possible.

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Which skin care product good for my face?
I would suggest cycoplast by LA ROCHE-POSAY it is a healing cream for the scars that are already there and u will notice a difference within a week , and then depending on your age i would do the most important steps on a daily basis

1. Clean

2.Hydration

you can also use a toner but that is your preference most suggest it, and the cleaner and hydration cream you use depends on your skin type and age, but i can suggest Vichy is excellent! so is biotherm even marcelle is excellent especially their face cleansing cloths!
Reply:I'd recommend any brand that uses organic ingredients. . .they work miracles on your face. . .trust me
Reply:Try using Pomegranate Face polisher. It is available in Bath adn body works store. Recently there was a 50% off on the product.

It very good for the skin and also its contains natural products.

My skin feels very clear, blemish free and polished. The makeup goes on very smooth and whole day it stays bright.

You must give it a try!
Reply:The basic prob is oil.

Keep you face as clean as possible.

Use lime. apply lime before u take bath, wait till it dries up and wash. use soap thrice a day cause it clean the dirt in the skin.

use white egg york once a week.

use talcum spread it even when u go out.

make sure u maintain a dry look

How to know that the skin care product is suitable for your skin?

I'm 15 years old Asian teenager.

I want to know that how to know that skin care product like cleanser, scrub or else is suitable for skin.

Can someone tell me if that skin care product is not suitable for the skin, what will happen.

Does St.Ives Apricot Scrub suitable for teenagers?

How to know that the skin care product is suitable for your skin?
omg! i have that exact same problem... i don't really know how you can tell if something is suitable for ur skin but i know St.Ives Apricot Scrub does NOT work for me. I had been using it off and on for about 10 months and i realized my pimples just wouldn't clear away, especially after i used it. so... i stopped using it for a week and all my pimples went down to tiny size and u can hardly see them anymore. y don't u try stopping it for a week and if it gets better, its not for you.
Reply:not sure but srubing too much at young age isnt good...
Reply:i use clearasil oil free acne wash, it's gentle, smells fresh, and my friends, of all ethnicities are able to use it with no problems and their skin looks great. scrubs can be okay too, as long as it's not harsh on your skin. the best way to find what works for you is through trial and error. try something, if it doesn't work for you, try something else.
Reply:Well I learned through trial and error. Your face will react to any thing you put on your face. Mine usually burns. I use a sensitive skin cream line. It 15, I think that Niva should be good for you. I wouldn't use a scrub at your age. Scrub creams are more for older skin types ....good luck
Reply:Depends

If your skin is just oily or if your skin breaks out. If it is just oily you need a skincare system that is for oil control and if it has frequent breakouts then you need one to control that. Also, it is important to make sure your using skincare that is always the same brand. They are made to work together and if you use different brands together your not going to be happy with the results. It is important to start taking care of your skin while you are young. If you start something now it becomes habit and you will always do it. Then as you age you will not have all the aging issues that the ones who didn't start young have.

Go to www.beautipage.com/melissacarter and look at the skincare. If you have any questions you can contact me.

hope this helps
Reply:The first thing you need to do before finding the right skin care product for you finding what type of skin type you have. Most products target several individual skin types: oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, acne-prone skin and combination skin.

Here is an easy guide for that. It will tell you all you need to know to choose the best skin care product.

Reply:For teenagers, you can just use miho bio foam, miho skin lotion and miho spot touch (to dry up any pimples when it popped up). Do it daily and your skin will be well maintained.

Ceck out the link as they also sell trial size before you commit to big bottles. Only available online and not sold in any departmental stores. Highly recommend.
Reply:No, that stuff irritates my skin and I am in my forty's,Mary Kay products have a line of skin products for teens, try looking into those. My sons girlfriend uses them and she has the prettiest clean looking skin.

(Many blessings)
Reply:It should say on the bottle what it was intended for, don't use leg cream on your face, don't use nail cream on your legs, etc. use face cream on the face, leg cream on the legs etc. I'm not 100% sure if this is the answre you were asking for, but i hope it helps! :)
Reply:Yes St. Ives Apricot Scrub is suitable for every age group. I like this web site they have all types of skin care on it and it works really well.
Reply:I regularly use face wash and cream and I would always go for products made from natural sources such as fruit and herbs.

The general rule is don't buy something that have too much unidentifiable substances/chemicals in its ingredients!

Also try products that have the same pH value as our skin (neutral). Seba-Med is one good example!

If you have sensitive skin condition, always get help from your local dermatologist.
Reply:try it on a couple of days and see if it helps

Skin Care Product Vote?
I have to travel out of your listed products, I have tried them all. LOL..ok, well I am an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, and I would not be if this was not the only brand that has worked for me. I have always had problem skin, issues with blemishes and acne. Granted, Mary Kay may be a little more expensive than those in your list, but I say if it works then why not? If you are interested in seeing what MK has for cleanser, etc. you can go to www.marykay.com/tanyab76 and check out the Cleansers under the Skin care tab. It works for me and has for millions of other women. Feel free to contact me about any products also under my name it says "contact me" on my website. Good luck!
Reply:Cleanser: Noxzema

Moisturizer: Neutrogena
Reply:neutrogena
Reply:neurogena any of that brand works great
Reply:clean and clear
Reply:I use Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Cream Cleanser.

What have you tried? Everyone's skin is different, so you should find products specifically made for you. For example, I have mild acne, so I like the cream cleanser because it treats my skin without drying it out too much. But it wouldn't work for those with extreme acne, because they'd need something stronger.

You can go to makeupalley.com or drugstore.com to look at the reviews of different products.
Reply:Neutrogena makes a couple of great cleansers that cleanse well without drying. Also, Olay Daily Facials are the BEST. I use Daily Facials Night. It is like a cleanser and a facial. It gets all the deep-down crud and dirt out and takes off your eye makeup. It's excellent!
Reply:none i use marykay its great! but if i would have to pick one of those i would say nuetrogena
Reply:Try Noxzema original in blue tub I have used it for years and it works great.
Reply:trust me use cetaphil it will work neatrogena gave me more pimples and dreid my skin
Reply:Cleanser: Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

Moisturizer: Aveeno Positively Radiant (bonus: SPF 30)

My dermatologist recommended a handful of things to try. She gave me some samples and these were the best products for me.
Reply:neutrogena is good.
Reply:Are these your only options?? Have you ever tried Mary Kay? We have skin care that will work for normal to dry skin, combination to oily skin, sensitive skin etc. Mary Kay has been the #1 brand of skin care since 1993 and it's 100% guaranteed so if one formula doesn't work for you, just exchange for another. Plus you can request samples (FREE) to try before you purchase anything.
Reply:Clean and clear- works well for someone who has normal skin but tends to get breakouts occasionally.

Nuetrogena- Also works well for breakouts but is a little more drying so probably best for more oily skin.

Nivea- good moisturizers for dry skin

St ives- apricot scrub is a great exfoliator

clearasil- great spot treatment.
Reply:Clean %26amp; Clear - Crap. Too much oil in the product resulting in acne and a feeling of unwashed skin and buildup.

Neutrogena - Have only tried the glycerine bar soap and it did not hold up to it's promises.

Nivea - Too expensive for my budget

St. Ives - Great experience with this brand in just about every product. Plus they have cleansers, exfoliants and masks for different skin types.

Clearsil - Same as Clean %26amp; Clear. Every time I used the face wash it made my skin oily, but dried it out at the same time, and I have dry skin to begin with.

Next to St. Ives, there are two lines of products that work for my skin. Walmart's Equate brand. Their cleanser that's compared to Clearsil works a hell of a lot better than Clearsil and it's more affordable.

Yves Rocher is another company. They have a lot of different products...make up, perfume, body care, skin care, hair care...all of their products work great. Hypoallergenic and they don't test on animals, have great sales and are affordable. http://yvesrocherusa.com
Reply:out of ur list id say nuetrogena. I like using Biore and acne free product myself they work really well
Reply:I would have to say none of the above. Arbonne makes an Intelligence skin care line that works great. I have been using it since I got it as a gift for Christmas and I will never use anything else. If you have never tried it, you should. Go to this website for a free sample.

Commercial for Skin Care product?

I saw a commercial for a skin care product...I don't remember what it was called, but I remember that in the commercial, a teenage girl is shown in bed (or has just gotten out of bed...i'm not sure...) and her friend calls her and tells her to get up and come out..and she puts on her skin stuff and then takes it off with a washcloth--no water needed i think, she wasn't at the sink...and then she says "i'm up, i'm up!" and leaves (with nice skin. hehe) Can anyone tell me what the product is called? Thanks!

Reply:keep in mind that acne starts to develop up to six weeks before you actually see it. You need to use a product continously for that amount of time before you may see results. I would suggest either keep w/ the product you're using or switch to something specialized for your sking type. My skin is the same way, it used to get really oily and break out occasionally. I use noxema, and it works great for me. You just have to be patient, becuause it will take time. I know that sucks, but unless you want to pay forty bucks for proactiv or get a prescription, just wait.
Reply:You may be experiencing a lot of stress or your hormones may be changing at this point. There's really a lot of reasons you are breaking out.

Reply:I'm an esthetician, which means I do skin care for a living. I would say it depends on your age. MURAD is a very good line, but expensive. Check out their website and only use as directed, it is strong (i.e. if it says leave on for 10 min, don't leave on for 20!). Some of my younger clients do well with Neutrogena products. I would recommend an oil-free cream cleanser. A gel cleanser can strip you of oil, making your body produce more. If you can afford it, go get a facial and ask your esthetician for at-home care advice. She may refer you to a dermatologist. Good luck, be patient and DON'T PICK! Scars are worse than pimples.
Reply:ok, i have have typed this so many times, i hope this is worth it.

Step one: go to walmart and go to the section with stuf for ur acne and pick two things out. face wash (i use aveeno) and any kind of acne solution u want (i use a product from Clearpore, its blue liquid that u put on ur face with a cotton ball).

Step two: one of the most important things about getting rid of acne is wash ur face twice a day, morning and night. do that with the face wash

step three: to make sure the acne solution u picked is right for you, start using it only once a day. if ur skin isnt peeling or all flaky then it is working, and u should start using it twice a day right after u use ur face wash. if it is bad, then the only solution is to go back to walmart and keep on searching until u find something that works for you

step four: DO NOT PICE AT UR ZITS. it will only make them worse. this is about as important as washing ur face is.

step five: if ur acne is extremly bad, have a doctor prescribe something to you. once you get the prescribed stuuf, use normal acne solution in morning and prescribed stuff at night (u still wash ur face twice a day). if skin is not peeling or flaky after a couple of days, start using both products twice a day

i hope all this helps u to get rid or ur pimples.

p.s. it might be about a month before u start seeing real improvement (sry, but its the truth) so dont freak out if all ur acne isn't gone in a couple of days. and don't use any makeup or that much hair styling products, both will make ur acne worse.

hope this has helped

Reply:Okay. First of all, a good product with Benzoyl Peroxide will kill bacteria on the skin and help dry out existing acne. I tried the ProActive solution and found it BROKE my skin out WORSE. The best product with Benzoyl Peroxide is Thomas Peter Roth. They have BPO 5% Acne wash,

BPO 2 1/2 % Acne Pumice Scrub (once or twice a week) Aloe Tonic Mist (replaces your astringent and neutralizes skin ph) and a great alpha hydroxy moisterizer. I bought mine at the salon where I got my facials but Heres the website:

http://www.peterthomasroth.com/index.htm...

Okay. Now I use a product called Jan Marini. This is a Glycolic Acid based product. This has been the best for my skin. It made me break out, lots of little whiteheads, but this went away after one week. Because this product is so exfoliating, it makes EVERYONE break out at first, bringing up whatever is in the deeper layers of skin. This has by far been the best, second choice for me is the PTR products. Also I got the Jan Marini product where I get my facials. Heres a link:

http://www.janmarini.com/skincaresystem....

Okay... these products are professional, and a little expensive. However, one purchase of the systems would give me 3-4 months of use. How often do you buy products at the grocery store or walmart? It is worth it to spend the money on some good skin care products. Also try to get a professional facial once every month or two, and listen to your estheticians advice, you will never regret spending that money. Email me if you want to talk more.

Best cheap skin products?

Can anyone recommend a good CHEAP brand of skin care products? Something I can find even at a walmart/walgreens?

Best cheap skin products?
Best out there is Olay. I've seen consumer reports that have even rated Olay products higher than what you can get at the Dept. store.
Reply:biore is great.
Reply:Mud or muck, it's free!
Reply:proactive
Reply:vaseline
Reply:Noxema or Clearasil products work well.
Reply:Olay is the best its been around a long time due to its popularity and its works wonders
Reply:cocoa butter sticks work wonders. they're 69 cents for a foundation-sized stick. they're 100% natural and you just need to glide them on lightly to leave your skin soft all ding-dong day.
Reply:Ponds, reasonably priced and does good job. Lori
Reply:Water and soap! Its the best thing around!
Reply:Pork sauage
Reply:Oil of Olay toner %26amp; moisturizer for sensitive skin rocks!
Reply:No joke... soap and water, and a hat.

My mother use to use all kinds of creams and really messed up her face... went to a dermatologist and he told her to stop using everything... that her face will get worse before it got better (to recover), but to only use soap and water to wash her face. I've listened to that and other then when I use makeup, I never use anything on my face. I am 40 but this year, I lost count of the varies ages and sexes that have told me that I look 27. No joke. Oh and my grandmother swore by Vasiline but she was excentric.

Does anyone read labels for skin products?

Most of the chemicals in skin care products are neurotoxins, carcinogenic, cause birth defects, decrease natural UV resistance, endocrine disrupters, thyroid depressants, increase MRSA resistance, and the constant destruction of skin cells lead to premature aging. How can you put this stuff on your face?

Does anyone read labels for skin products?
WOW! I didn't know how UNeducated I was until now. Sounds like I better educate myself and no I haven't been reading the lables of what I put on my face cause I can't understand the words but I will try from now on.
Reply:i use products that say non-comodegenic...makes you breakout free
Reply:I only use Aveda it's all organic so I don't have to worry about that stuff
Reply:I doubt that 10 sec of some Clearasil soap on your face will give you all those things. You have a bias because you sell this stuff.

Lots of thing double chances of getting some cancer. Living in the city, inhaling CO2, drinking coke, or milk, eating fries. Still chances are pretty slim.
Reply:It is scary. I buy most of my personal care products @ natural food stores %26amp; if anything on the label seems suspicious, it doesn't leave the store.

I agree with the poster who makes sure her products are non-comedogenic, but I also select cruelty-free products.

What skin products are the best for teens?

Avon has an great selection of skin care products like makeup and cleansers and moisturizers that are even cheaper than the drug stores. I shop online at www. yourAvon.com/kgardiner. They deliver right to my door. I made extra holiday money last year selling the stuff. AWESOME.

What skin products are the best for teens?
i use proactive. I'm a little embarrassed to say it, but i do. I have a disease that makes my skin very very sensitive and this is the only acne treatment that actually doesn't make my acne worse.
Reply:Neutragena is the best.
Reply:Pro Active.
Reply:Avon is excellent. Proactive is great too. Arbonne is another that is really good because it is all natural and is really specified for areas and teens. Try Arbonne and see what you think...
Reply:I like Clinique. Am not fond of Avon. It broke me out and their makeup sucks.
Reply:i've just started to use oxy, lol. i usually use neutrogena. i don't really have acne, but my face can get oily, and i randomly break out sometimes.. then again everyone does : S
Reply:Mary Kay has a cleanser specially formulated for teen skin and it's called Velocity. It is a wonderful product. I also sell Mary Kay.
Reply:I use Velocity. It is a line by Mary Kay. It comes with a face wash, moisturizer, acne cream, and foundation. LOVE IT!
Reply:For you I recommend "Cream of Sumyunguy"
Reply:Biore, Clinique, Shiseido all work great

What should I buy for my skin products ?

i am really confused what to buy for my skin care products. i often break out well on my cheeks so i'm gonna buy new skin care products. i am considering about aveda, clinique, and biotherm. but i heard that clinique's includes lots of alcohol which is not good for acne but also i heard it is good for acne skin a lot. and biotherm seems mild and its hydrating moisturizer looks real good. lastly, aveda uses natural source so i like it ....... all three looks so good so i got little hard to decide. Which one do you recommend ?? ...... and basic line or acne line ???

What should I buy for my skin products ?
You should use a hydrating skin care system, and, if you are prone to breakouts, then you should probably use an acne line. Alcohol and lots of chemical agents in an acne line will probably dry your fact out, which will dry up the acne but leave you with a different set of problems.

You'll have to find what works best for you. I recommend Arbonne's Clear Advantage System (https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/ski... look for it in the left menu). It has a nutritional supplement that helps heal from the inside out. It's worked really well for my teenagers.

Botanically-based, natural products are the best, so go for a product set that is made from all natural ingredients. And use whatever system you choose twice daily and NEVER leave make up on overnight.

Good luck!
Reply:I use a acne thingy that is called zap it and if you use it every night your skin will be zit clear
Reply:Cetaphil lotion, it really works on the face it's over the counter it hydrates and gets rid of acne. find it at stores like target
Reply:Neutrogena products work great and are very gentle, hypo-allergenic and non-codogenic. They have products for every type of skin (oily, dry, normal, combination, wrinkles) as well as an acne line which is also very gentle.

Best Brand Over the Counter Skin Care Product?

What are the best brands for "OTC" skin care? Oil of Olay, Neutrogena, Aveeno, etc.? I currently use Mary Kay Timewise but really want to switch things up and be able to buy my products at my local store instead of hounding down a Mary Kay rep.

Best Brand Over the Counter Skin Care Product?

Reply:I like Oil of Olay. I have used it for years.
Reply:Re Vive
Reply:I really like the Aveda brand, you can buy it at the salon or on their website. Other then that Aveeno has had really good results for me too. Oil of Olay has had a tendancy to clog my pores.
Reply:I love Clinique... never gone wrong...
Reply:Of those you named, Neutrogena is consistently the best.
Reply:Neutrogena, a lot of their products are dermatologist recommended.

Who can share with knowledge of a good skin care line/products?

Try the Mary Kay skin care line with customized skin care products for acne etc. The best thing to with your skin is always to keep it clean as well as treating breakouts. This helps prevent breakouts and other issues.

There are five steps to basic skin care:

1. Cleanse

2. Exfoliate

3. Tone/Freshen

4. Moisturize

5. Protect

The Mary Kay 3 in 1 cleanser can do the first three steps in one. The fifth step is protect. You want to use an oil free foundation which our formulas for dry normal combo and oily skin are all oil free. When your skin is protected with foundation you can wash off the impurities that your skin catches in the air. The foundation catches the irritants and impurities instead of them getting into your pores causing further breakouts. Mary Kay is satisfaction guaranteed. So if you try it and it doesnt work for you you can get different products or your money back.

Also it is so important that when you are using skin care you use one line be it Mary Kay or Avon or a Walmart brand. They are formulated to work with one another. Mixing products not designed to work together can cause reactions in some people. ;)

To even out skin tone you of course need to keep your skin exfoliated but also use a solution like our day and night solution. The day solution has SPF 25 in it and the Night Solution has Vitamin A and E and more in them. These collagen inducing products help to tighten and firm the skin as well as even out tone. You can add in our Microdermabrasion once or twice a week to totally exfoliate and remove dead skin. The second step of our microderm set will return your skin to its proper PH balance so you will not be rough or dry afterwards.

I reccomend using products as follows but all skin care must be customized for an individual.

Timewise 3 in 1 Cleanser (customized for skin type)

Timewise Day Solution (at night use Night Solution)

Timewise Moisturizer (customized for skin type)

Timewise Firming Eye cream

Additional moisturizers if needed(intense for dry spots etc)

Foundation (customized for skin type and shade)

Color products (use all oil free and non-comedogenic)

Hope this was helpful!!

What is the best skin care product to buy at walmart?

i need my face to clear up fast and i need something to do it with...... if you know any good skin care products in walmart and u know the price range can u also give me that info 2

What is the best skin care product to buy at walmart?
synthetic gear oil
Reply:Clean %26amp; Clear:

Oxygenating Cleansing Foam Wash..its like $6.99 a bottle
Reply:I use Almay. the cleanser, toner and moisturizer runs me about 30 something bucks, but that's the total price for all of them.
Reply:Salicylic Acid products like Clean %26amp; Clear Dual Action Moisturizer and/or Neutrogena Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment.

The first one is like $3.00 at target and the second one SEEMS expensive at like $6.00 a bottle but if you look at the "Per Ounce" price it is actually the cheepest in the isle.

As long as it has Salicylic Acid in it it will work!!
Reply:walmart is anti american. buy somewhere else

If a chemical in a skin care product causes cancer, would you let your teen use it?

A lot of the teens on the skin care board are really using a lot of benzoyl peroxide. Should these products maybe state on the label or something that benzoyl peroxide is used to induce skin cancer in lab animals for skin cancer research?

If a chemical in a skin care product causes cancer, would you let your teen use it?
That's horrible! All those companies care about is money and they don't care about people. They'd rather sell a dangerous product to millions of people, versus going out of business!

Anyways, no. I wouldn't let my kid use it.

And for the person who said that the FDA would take that off the shelves if it caused cancer, the FDA keeps lots of drugs on the shelves knowing that they're dangerous.
Reply:no way
Reply:I use it and i never heard that it causes cancer...so where is the link that states such thing?
Reply:First of all, I want to state this, "ANIMALS AND HUMANS ARE NOT THE SAME" just because it causes cancer in an animal does not mean it does so for a human, as a matter of fact, if there was any evidence taht such a drug caused damage to a human, the FDA Would step in and pull it off the market.
Reply:that causes cancer!

i've been using the product for over a year

im really scared now.........

why'd the heck did i get a thumb down for being scared?

geez people
Reply:if it CAUSES cancer.. it wouldnt be available to purchase.
Reply:to the person that said animals %26amp; humans are different, that's true, but honestly, FDA is full of greedy morons, and i bet they get a lot of money with BP sales, so they most likely wouldn't pull it off unless there was a lot of public outcry.

thankfully i use mostly natural products [i'm 15], but if i had a kid, i'd really recommend they don't use it, but it'd be kinda hard to enforce it.
Reply:"Benzoyl peroxide breaks down in contact with skin, producing benzoic acid and oxygen, neither of which are significantly toxic.

When applied to skin benzoyl peroxide has been shown to induce cancer, but only when used at 100% concentrations; it has not been shown to do this at the far lower concentrations used for treating acne, and at lower concentrations benzoyl peroxide has not been found to be mutagenic or carcinogenic."
