What skin care products did you use and saw/felt a real difference?

For acne, wrinkles, whatever. Eventually all these magic mushrooms are going to catch up with me! I don't want my beautiful blue hue to fade...All suggestions are so very appreciated!

What skin care products did you use and saw/felt a real difference?
Naturals/whole body

Sugar, softens and removes dead skin + it's cheap!

Aloe Vera does wonders.

Olive Oil conditions (skin not face)

Cocoa Butter does a a decent job of softening lines and fading spots.

Accutane is great...if you dont want to have kids.
Reply:for acne .."acne free" is really good. and wrinkles, there's a neutrogina microdermabrasian kit you can buy from like walmart. like 20-30 bucks. but its worth it. and makes your skin feel young and soft.
Reply:Proactive works. Their night time mask is the best.

Accutane is the best acne "cure", it is a prescription pill. However it has some pretty serious side effects. I used it and now I have a zit maybe ever two months %26amp; it is always very very small.

Wrinkles I don't know about (yet), but Nivea "Q-10" lotion works wonders on those dark bags under the eyes.

Yes I am a manly man.
Reply:I use a really cheap and inexpensive (but VERY effective) method. Buy generic brand aspirin (the white, non-coated kind), honey, and toner. Use 3-4 aspirins, sprinkle literally a COUPLE drops of water on top to help dissolve. Squeeze a bit of honey, and rub all over your face. Wait for 10 MINUTES. This should be a little pasty and dry. Then, use a cotton ball dipped in your favorite toner, and use it in a circular motion to help exfoliate dead skin cells. Wash off with a face wash, and moisturize. You will feel a real difference. Baby soft skin, bumps, and redness will be totally gone.
Reply:Organic virgin coconut oil work wonders unless you're allergic of course.
Reply:Three things that I love:

ProActiv- http://www.proactiv.com/

Bare Escentuals- http://www.bareminerals.com/

Olay Regenerist- http://www.olay.com/boutique/regenerist/

They've all done amazing things for my skin!
Reply:i use stuff called "extraderm" for pimples. ive only ever seen it in teh philippines, but it cleared my pimples, my cuzzins and my german friends pimples in roughly 3 days. for me it took about 4 to 5.
Reply:I would agree with the two other posters that Accutane can be bad stuff for women. I may be wrong, but I believe that an unborn baby, before a woman even knows she's pregnant, can be harmed by the medication. Bad birth defects. They even tell a woman on Accutane to avoid becoming pregnant while on the medication (and since we all know how that can go, I'd say it's not worth the zits it zaps, IMO).

On the lighter side, I've used Neutrogena cleansing bar (transparent orange) and found that it really does do a nice job on the face. St. Ives Apricot Scrub is lovely, but sometimes you really, REALLY have to work it in and scrub to get dirt and oil loose (and even then sometimes you miss some spots--but that could just be me). Those are just two products that I like.

If you have red spots (from scabs, etc.) that won't go away, try rubbing a little zinc oxide cream into them. It works well for that. I was told that it also works to get rid of pimples, but I'm not sure if I've noticed a difference or not.
Reply:i'm more of a high street shopper...so for me the products that have made a difference are my nivea cream.....been using it since ages.....l'oreal de-wrinkle eye cream...my eye bags really vanished n lines reduced.....olay cleanser.....cocoa butter body lotion.....
