Okay so I want to try some new skin care products..?

I have super oily skin plus the occasional break outs. I am currently using a range recommended by my dermatologist and found that it does not help in reducing the oil.

I want to try something new - one that not only helps reduce the oil but also smooths out my skin and pores.

Is Clinique or SK II any good? Which is better? Any other suggestions?

Okay so I want to try some new skin care products..?
I absolutely love Arbonne products. They are botanically based and all natural. No mineral oil, hypoallergenic, pH balanced, just great stuff. My skin looks and feels great. I've been using it for three years and will never change. It's amazing how many cosmetic lines use ingredients that actually harm your skin. Going all natural is best! I have tons of info, e-mail me if you'd like to know more or if you want I can send you a free sample. You'll never use anything else again!
Reply:Try using L'Oreal's Purezone line...It helped me a lot.
Reply:look at my webstie www.decollettepads.co.uk
Reply:try one natural way warm water
Reply:You should see to it that the product line you are using is dedicated for oily skin. Within the day use oil blotthing paper or powder so that the oil in your skin is reduced, and you will look much better.

Also start from within, drink tons of water your skin needs it, sometimes stress and lack of sleep can also cause bad skin. Eat more veggies and fruits this will help give more nutrients to the skin.

You can also try shisheido or nuskin both great skin care products. I've used clinique before, i find it too strong and harse for the skin, it's more suitable for older women.
Reply:I would suggest (as I do to my Clients) to use a salicylic acid wash (benzoil peroxide is too harsh) such as Clear Advantage by Arbonne or Dr. Murad's Acne products. I like the Clear Advantage because it is mild but effective. I have one male client in particular who had amazing results - I was in shock when I saw him a week after he started using the system. I was also working with a teen model who had gone to a dermatologist and the products over-dried her face - we literally saw a change in her skin texture after her first use and her face started clearing up very quickly. I also saw very good results on several people who have adult acne.

Also, please remember to hydrate and moisturize your face. Even if you are super oily - you need to hydrate and moisturize because your skin is over producing oil because it is being dried out. DDF has a great moisturizer for super oily skin called Moisture Dew - it is water based and perfect for oily breakout prone skin.

I would say that these products would be your best bet.

Good luck!! :)
Reply:Have you asked your dermatologist about trying Duac?

I'm on it now and I have the oiliest skin ever! Since I have been using it, my face doesnt get THAT oily anymore. I love it. My face is also smooth in the morning too.

I also use Oil blotting sheets -- by Biore.

(I also have the CVS brand, when I cant find biore -- works just as well)

To help stop oiliness try using a Toner:

Biore's toner isnt harsh on your skin and leaves it feeling cool and fresh. Tightens pores too. This is the only toner I'll use.

To make your face smoother, use Biore's Exfoliator:

I LOVE this! I use this everyday, and don't have a problem with it. It smooths out my skin and helps reduce your pores.

Then I use the pore minimizing face wash to wash my face:

Along with the Moisturizer:

ALL of that together has helped my skin out alot.

Also try out a powder to use during the day. After you blott with the oil blotting sheets, apply some powder. You cant just stop the oil from producing, as you need it. But all of this has helped me out alot.

Biore is pretty good about their prices -- most things are 6-8 dollars .. CVS is having a sale though so you can possibly find some Biore stuff on sale. Their moisturizer is 12 bucks though.

Hope that helps!
