Do Proactive Solution Skin Care Products really work?

I'm 18 and I have what I'd say is a medium amount of acne, it's not a lot, but enough! Does proactive really work? And I've heard that when you stop using it, your acne comes back worse, is this true? What else is a god solution to this amount of acne?

Do Proactive Solution Skin Care Products really work?
I dont have that big of an acne problem, so i use it whenever i have some spotting. For me it works, even tho im not a regular everday user. Ofcourse, it might be different for you. My freinds and my younger aunt also use it sometimes and its worked for them most of the time.

Procactive or not, just do these two things and im sure that lil bit of acne will go away;

one- drink lots of water

two- wash your face more than twice a day, with a facewash made for acne removal.

Worked for me. Good luck!
Reply:It depends on the person, it works for me, but not for my sister. You have to keep using it steadily to prevent future breakouts.
Reply:YES IT WORKS BUT YOU HAVE TO READ THEIR BOOKLET AND FOLLOW IT AND DEPENDING ON HOW BAD YOUR ACNE IS YOU HAVE TO KEEP BUYING IT MONTH AFTER MONTH UNTIL YOU FEEL YOUR SKIN IS GOOD THEN YOUR DONZZO !
Reply:I've used it for 3 years now and I wouldn't go a day without it. I've never found anything better, even knock-off Proactiv products. However, you have to continue to use it, or you'll tend to break out. I think your skin just gets so used to it. I love it though.
Reply:It does work... but you are kinda hooked for life. Remember in Catwoman, when Sharon Stone's character had to keep using that facial cream or else her face would deteriorate? It's the same kind of deal. I stopped using it because my acne was gone, only to find that my acne came back within days with a vengence. I believe that you should only use this product if you are willing to pay every month for it. If you want the cheap way to get rid of acne, just drink lots of water: it will get rid of acne and even give you a nice glow.
Reply:I doubt it considering how Proactive solution does not exist. PROACTIV exists though and everyone I know who has used it has had issues. The people who are telling you that "proactive" works have obviously never used it and theyre lying their asses off.
Reply:I have had 2 nieces and 1 nephew who had excellent sucess with Proactive. The trick is to keep using it!
Reply:proactiv DOESNT work for me . if u REALLY wanna get rid of your acne fast, use AcneFree. you can buy it at wal mart, target, walgreens, cvs, all those kinds of places. it's $18. it works good cuz it's made with benzoyl peroxide. and proactiv doesnt have benzoyl peroxide.
Reply:no, it made me break out worse. It dried my skin out really bad, I like the Johnson and Johnson clean and clear acne solution. It worked for me.
Reply:I would rather go with Cetaphil.

Wet 'n' Wild Skin Care Products?

I've been reading a lot about the Wet n Wild cleansers and moisturizers...are they really all that good?

Wet 'n' Wild Skin Care Products?
No, wet'n'wild are really cheap crappy products for like young teens, defiantly stay away
Reply:COMPLETELY untrue. Check WnW's product reviews. Their skin products are unbelievably good, for their price. Report It

Reply:This stuff is only to be used in an emergency.
Reply:wet n wild is really cheap. do not use their products if you want something quality. their makeup is ok, but i would not use it eaither
Reply:Cheap CRAP is what wet n wild really is!! Don't waste your money!! !! Try cetaphil brand or lubriderm,,,they are reccomended most by dermatologists for being the best.

Can guys use skin care products?

they always have girls in the commercials and i was wondering are they only for girls like neutrogena?

Can guys use skin care products?
Yeah no doubt. I use skin care products all the time, and have now for several years. Most of the big time skin commercials you see on tv, have versions available for males. Depending on how far you want to go with it, there are a lot of different brands and kinds you can purchase. I only use a face srub made by Nuetrogena for men. It's only about $5 and I get it at walmart.
Reply:Guys can absolutely use skin care. Some might think it's weird but if i had a boyfriend I wouldn't think it's weird if he used skin care.

Hope this helps!!!
Reply:yea
Reply:Absolutely...guys who take care of themselves will probably get noticed for it. Girls can tell when a guy takes time on the details!
Reply:Of course, they can. Their skins have needs too. I do not understand why all ads are geared to women. I guess there are only a few companies out there that recognize or feel men have dry, oily and combination skins..... or need moisturizers for their bodies. I guess they, the companies, feel they can glamorize women more with their products............

Who makes siana skin care products?

Would you buy skin care products from a street vender?

I don't think I would. You don't have any type of guarantee with the product and you don't know exactly what your getting. Plus, if it's been sitting outside in the elements, then there might be damage to the product.

Would you buy skin care products from a street vender?
It really depends on WHAT exactly it was being sold.
Reply:yes
Reply:I wouldn't, You never know how long it's been sitting around for. Skin care products that are old can actually break you out...Not healthy and defeats the purpose!
Reply:No, absolutely not.
Reply:I wouldn't especially since you really don't know if it's what it claims to be. Also, you can't return it and get your money back.
Reply:It depends on what it is that is being sold, and wether or not it seems legit. If you are buying big name products from the vendor for cheaper than you would find it somewhere else, chances are they are either stolen or the product has been switched. If the vendor is trying to sell his/her own product, I say give it a try, but do get a name or something of this person in case the product makes you break out. It could be worth a shot.
Reply:no not really because you never know if its fake or real...and apart from that, you never know whats inside..if they mixed it up with some cheap creme or lotion or whatever they have there selling...

dont do that especially if its for face products.

our skin is very delicate and we have to know what we use on it.

and sometimes the stuff they are selling at the vender, might be expired, because skin care products have an expiration date too..
Reply:No, what if I turned purple or something? It probably wouldn't match my outfit.. =]

Who has better skin care products Avon or Mary Kay?

Both are great, but my budget chose Avon over Mary Kay. It works great on my skin, which has special needs. ( I have sensitive combination skin, with acne, oiy and dry spots; not to mention needing to reduce pore size and fight fine lines). Avon has been a good friend and my skin has thanked me for it.

Who has better skin care products Avon or Mary Kay?
Personally I've found that Biore is better than both of them, cheaper, and more accessible.
Reply:both are cheap and will end in disaster but avon is more appreciated.
Reply:Mary-Kay
Reply:Without a doubt, Mary-Kay. It's more expensive for a reason.....

I use Bare Minerals and Lancome, but since you asked about Mary-Kay and Avon, I'd have to recommend Mary-Kay.
Reply:Mary Kay, hands down. I've tried both brands, and this is one case where the proof is in the price. It's worth the extra money for Mary Kay.
Reply:take penty of water and fresh fruittts alongwith protein food rather using all types of cosmetics
Reply:Neither, try Arbonne. Go to their website and check it out. It's made with essential oils which are the BEST for your skin and mood. They give you a better emotional balance and are great for your skin.
Reply:Well if I had to pick I'd say Avon..but an even better brand is Artistry!
Reply:Mary Kay, but I'm not crazy about it.
Reply:I'm allergic to Mary Kay (yes, even the hypoallergenic stuff) so I would say Avon. And they are more affordable, too. I personally prefer Lancome. My suggestion: splurge on the foundation but keep the basics, (i.e.- mascara, eyeshadow, blush) to a minimum by purchasing at Wal-mart, Target, etc. Go ahead and spend a little more on a great lipstick, too.
Reply:avon is better
Reply:PROACTIVE is better than a lot of them because that product really works .................PROACTIVE............
Reply:Mary Kay, you get what you pay for.
Reply:Avon! and for the younger crowd try their latest devision: MARK!

Reply:Avon is the best.

Reply:In my opinion, Avon skin care products are junk. One of my best friends sisters sells Avon and was telling us Avon is putting a real effort into making their facial products better so they can compete. I recently purchased Mary Kay facial products and found them to be fabulous. To be honest with you price has nothing to do with skin care products. You have to find what works best for you and YOUR skin which may mean making bad investments and throwing some items away. I have been told Cetaphil is all you need (purchased at your local CVS for about $10) or that Re9 (insanely expensive) developed by dermatologist, is by far the best for your skin. I have tried both, and had the same result. I will agree with what one person wrote, if you have acne prone skin, ProActiv is fantastic stuff. It does really work. But to get back to your question: Avon or Mary-Kay - Mary Kay and here is the good part, if you don't like it, it is 100% refundable, no questions asked.

Why is Aloette Skin Care Products cheaper on-line than buying from a sales representative?

Upon occassion There are excellent deals on certain Aloette packages. Anytime you see an infomercial package offered on-line (not ebay) or on TV you can get the same deal from any Aloette Consultant. If I were your sales rep you will also get better customer service, and I would make sure that the products in the package were right for your skin type.

Shipping would be much faster and if something should happen in the shipping process to cause breakage, a rep can replace your product. That is not necessarily true on-line.

Also if it is a package that is being offered for any length of time, often wht happens is the custoer ends up on an automatic reship. findig someone to get you taaken off the reship plan is like finding a needle in a haystack.

If ever you see an offering on TV or online %26amp; you think you might be interested in it. Please email me. I accept email through yahoo answers. I will make sure you get the best deal quickly.

Also beware of Aloette offerings on EBAY. I have seen product that I know is over 8 years old (by the packaging) being sold as NEW.

You never want old product. That is another thing about online, you do not know how old that product is either.

Why is Aloette Skin Care Products cheaper on-line than buying from a sales representative?
Most products that you buy online will be cheaper than buying them from a sales representitive. This is because you are eliminating any costs such as wage costs for sales staff and you are also eliminating pfofit mark ups! This is where the person who makes it sells it to a distributer for a price then the distributer sells it to a wholesaler for a more expensive price and the wholesaler sells it to sales representitives for an even higher price! By the time the product has reached the sales floor it has recieved several price increases!
Reply:thats because selling online has no extra overheads. With a sales representative, their salary and commission adds to the retail price of the products.
Reply:You like Aloette? I love it too! My favorite is the Hand and Silk Body Lotion, it smells wonderful.

The Sales Representative makes more money that way, so they sell their products much more expensive than on line. I noticed that as well so I started buying the products on line instead.
